Information for the upcoming weeks:
All students in K and 1st will need new paper packets. Students in grades 2nd- 5th will only need paper packets if they aren’t completing assignments online. To pick up or drop off your paper packet, you will pull up to the front of the school like you do for parent drop off. You will stay in your car and we will come to your window to find out what paper packets you need and take up the old packets to be graded. The paper packet pick up and drop off times will be Monday, April 13 from 10- 2 pm and Tuesday, April 14, from 2-6 pm. You may also return library books during this time.
Also, please keep in mind that the teachers will continue to be in close contact with you. If you or your child have emailed or contacted the teacher, kindly give them 24 hours to respond. Our teachers are spending countless hours trying to accommodate everyone’s schedules, so please be patient.
Additionally, we realize that several students paid for field trips that were to take place this spring. We will be issuing refunds, we ask that you continue to be patient with us, as our bookkeeper is working diligently to complete this task.
Once it is safe to do so, we will arrange some designated times for parents to come and pick up yearbooks and personal items.
If you need medicine that was left in the clinic before this time, please email Nurse Grizzle at rosa.grizzle@lumpkinschools.com to schedule a pick up time.

If you need Mr. Matt, our school counselor, during our time away from the school building please see the information below.

Your child's principal will be reaching out today with specific instructions on how Lumpkin County Schools will be handling distance and online learning. These days are not holidays; they are online/distance learning days.
We are all working together to navigate these unchartered territories. We appreciate your continued support of our school system. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if we can do something to better serve you and your child(ren) during this time. #TR1BE
