Last week, APES enjoyed seeing in action how sewage water is treated at both the Ranger Camp and our local sewage treatment facility here in town. Water treatment and water conservation careers are on the rise in every local community. Talk to Dr. Alldred today if you are interested in exploring one of these high demand careers!

LCHS was honored to have former state senator, CEO, and author, Bud Stumbaugh, speak to the LCHS Business, Marketing, Healthcare, and Teaching as Profession students. Mr. Stumbaughh shared his personal struggles and journey to overcome them. He encouraged students to think big and conquer the things they think they can't accomplish. He motivated students to not set limits for themselves but rather create a plan and celebrate their success along the way. The LCHS students in attendance all received a free copy of Mr. Stumbaugh's book, "Do The Best You Can't", which provides students with the tools and resources necessary for their own personal successes. Thank you Mrs. Amy Lincoln for arranging an incredible opportunity for our students. And, thank you to Bud Stumbaugh for sharing his life story with our LCHS students!
