LCHS will host a FAFSA help night for seniors/families on Wed. February 11 @ 5:30-7:00 pm at the LCHS Media Center. This will help seniors and family complete the FAFSA if help is needed or if you have questions about college financial aid.

Parents and families of Sophomores- counselors will begin meeting with juniors for individual academic conferences starting this week January 21-February 6. Conferences have been scheduled during one of your student's non-academic classes. They will receive their appointment slip through one of their elective teachers this week. Check with your student for their appointment date and time, parents are welcome to attend the scheduled conference.

Junior Vera Carson earned 1st Place in Retail Management, while Khloe Rasch secured 3rd Place in Real Estate. Both students have officially qualified to advance to the FBLA State Leadership Conference, representing Lumpkin County High School down in Atlanta in March.
Additionally, Matthew Pruett delivered a strong performance, finishing within the top ten in Public Speaking, further highlighting the depth and preparation of the LCHS FBLA chapter.
“These results reflect the hard work, professionalism, and dedication of our students,” said the FBLA adviser Jansen Haight. “FBLA competitions challenge students to apply real-world business skills, and our members rose to the occasion.”
