8th-grade Science students using M&Ms to learn about half-life; intellectually and physiologically satisfying!

Mrs. Rairigh won a Jackson EMC Bright Idea grant that will pay for sewing machines, fabric, thread, and notions to make masks and Dolls of Hope teddy bears! Her sixth-graders have caught the sewing bug! Mrs. Brunner also won a grant for her Entrepreneurship students and their L-Etsy project. Congrats to these teachers and their students!

Mr. Burce's class used a scavenger hunt to review for a math test.

Not only was Mr. Rhodes selected for a Patterson Partnership Grant earlier this school year, but he was also just selected as a Scholastic Literacy Advocate! Mr. Rhodes will represent our school and our state at the National Council for Teachers of English conference in November!

Mr. Flanagan's class studied the modern history of Europe with an interactive lesson practicing their research skills. In getting students out of the classroom, Mr. Flanagan is adding a more active element to the learning process.
