We are incredibly proud to recognize Bus Driver Clay Wimpy and LCHS/LCMS students Luke Ball and Jake Hendrix for their quick thinking and bravery that saved the life of a 72-year-old man trapped beneath his lawnmower.
At Monday's Board of Education meeting, Transportation Director Lynn White presented them with the Lumpkin County Schools Good Samaritan Award for their selfless actions.
