𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 #𝟐 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑

𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞: As we continue to monitor the current weather situation approaching Dahlonega/Lumpkin County, our transportation department and school administrators are prepared if needed to hold buses and to keep our students in their respective buildings until the threat of inclement weather has passed. We will continue to update our parents through our messaging system and by posting on our social media platforms throughout the afternoon. Please be weather-aware and stay safe as you traverse the roadways in the next few hours. To allow our schools to keep our students' safety as the number one priority, we ask that parents not call schools and tie up the phone lines unless there is an emergency. Any parent who wants to pick up his/her child from school may do so through the normal student sign-out procedures.
