FBLA has conducted a Halloween Safety program with LCES for the last 7 years. With COVID this year, they had to get creative! Members found a way to deliver and expand the program virtually to all 3 elementary schools! Additionally, the team partnered with local businesses to provide every elementary student in Lumpkin County Schools with Halloween candy. A big thank you to: Fudge Factory, Connie's Ice Cream Parlor, The General Store, Moore's Hardware, Grapevines, Grateful Days, and FBLA members for donating over 10,000 pieces of candy!

Even though ALL students are receiving free breakfast and lunch, we still need our students to submit the 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲/𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗹 application. These results help us with other funds and grants!

Mr. Flanagan's class studied the modern history of Europe with an interactive lesson practicing their research skills. In getting students out of the classroom, Mr. Flanagan is adding a more active element to the learning process.

Lumpkin County Schools will be sending out a survey later this week for you to vote on the 2021-2022 school calendar. In order to send the survey to parents, we need you to update your email address in the parent portal of Infinite Campus. If you have a valid email in Infinite Campus, you will receive the link to vote on your choice of calendar. All students will also receive the link in their emails, and we will allow each person to cast one vote (one vote per parent email, one vote per student email).
If you need help logging into the Parent Portal for Infinite Campus, please reach out to your child's school and ask to speak with the registrar. We will pull the email list on Wednesday afternoon, so be sure to update your email address prior to Wednesday. If you have already updated your email address, there is no action required.

Thank you to our community who made Old Fashion Day possible at LCES and LBES. With our current safety measures not allowing visitors in our schools, these individuals recorded videos and helped to make this day a special learning experience for our students!
