Due to current times, it seems that meat can be scarce. The LC Wrestling team has a high quality and reliable meat fundraiser with individual wrapped meats of your choice (see photos) that can be ORDERED and DELIVERED (if you pay shipping) or PICKED UP at LCHS.
This is a great way to support LC Wrestlers as well as get the needed items you may be looking for right now.

It might have been raining and traffic might have been heavier than any of us expected, but today’s farewell to this school year was epic! We love our LC #TR1BE! We hope you all have a safe, healthy, and happy summer!

Don’t forget to come out today between 2:00-3:00 PM to wave goodbye to your teachers!

Thank you to Señor Rambin for capturing these special moments from Friday evening's drive-thru graduation celebration for the Class of 2020!

On this Memorial Day, let’s all be mindful of the significance and history of today’s national holiday. We hope the beginning of your summer is starting off on a high note, and we ask you to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for all of us. #TR1BE

It's the last day of the 2019-2020 school year, and we know that this past quarter was difficult for us all. We sincerely appreciate your patience and your understanding as we all navigated these times.
In an effort to improve, we are asking each of you to take a few short minutes to complete this survey: https://tinyurl.com/LCMaySurvey
Here's to hoping each of you has a happy, safe and healthy summer break!

We know it hasn't been the easiest ending to a school year, and we want to wish all our students well as they head into summer break. Come out next Wednesday and let us send you off from a distance. Check out our attached plan. We can't wait to see you next Wednesday afternoon!

If you haven’t been on the LCHS campus recently, here’s a reason to drive by the rock. Check out this incredibly talented design by senior Brighton Hardee’s mom, Jerilyn! She worked late hours in the pouring rain to get this done, and the finished product is beautiful!

It's Mental Health Awareness Month, and we want our community to have available resources:

Community Helping Place is offering a Summer Food Program again this summer. To register your children, free to any child in Lumpkin County no matter your income, please see the attached flyer and follow the steps. Thank you, CHP, for your continued service to our community! #TR1BE

With our ninth year for honor graduates to honor an educator from their K-12 education, LCHS didn't want to miss this special recognition just because of COVID-19. It might not have been the traditional breakfast celebration, but the LCHS Admin Team traveled from Dahlonega to Suches to Cleveland to Clermont to Maysville to Baldwin to Jefferson to Gainesville to Cumming to Dawsonville and back to Dahlonega in an epic 10.5 hour trip to deliver 37 yard signs, certificates and personalized letters from students to LCSS educators. Congratulations to our 2020 Honor Educators! #TR1BE

Have we mentioned that we love the LCHS Class of 2020 lately?! We wish we could change the last few months of your senior year, but we will continue to honor you as we can. Check out the billboard at the end of 400 from the LCHS Admin Team! #TR1BE

REACH Interview Day is underway virtually! We are excited to begin the process this year for selecting new scholars. #TR1BE

It's not everyday that you have a Blitz Player of the Year in Lumpkin County. How about one player for two years in a row?! Well deserved, Hope Kenney! #TR1BE

Our plans for the May 22nd Drive-Thru Graduation are finalized! We cannot wait to celebrate our seniors next Friday evening. #TR1BE

Congratulations to Class of 2020 Senior Faith Schofield for being one of 202 students in the state of Georgia selected as a Georgia Scholar!
Students eligible for Georgia Scholar recognition are high school seniors who exhibit excellence in all phases of school life, in community activities, and in the home. Georgia Scholars are students who have carried exemplary course loads during the four years of high school; who performed excellently in all courses; who successfully participated in interscholastic events at their schools and in their communities; and who have assumed active roles in extracurricular activities sponsored by their schools.
Way to go, Faith!

With yesterday being our last day of new content, today is our last Fun Friday for this school year! Make it the best Fun Friday yet, and be sure to send your pictures to lcfunfriday@lumpkinschools.com! #TR1BE
