Thank you to our military veterans for their service! LCMS celebrated and honored our community's veterans at a luncheon today. We appreciate all the staff and volunteers that made this annual luncheon possible again this year.

Join us for a special presentation by the LCSS Fire Department starting at 12:00 PM. They will be providing simple tips about how to be "Fire Smart" and enjoy a fire-safe holiday season. There will be craft/activity tables for parents to participate in and lots of information!


LCHS hosted the Ministerial Association and LC Religious Leaders for lunch today. After their meeting, local ministers toured LCHS to see first-hand what students are learning and experiencing everyday!

Congratulations to LCHS FFA for taking silver at Nationals for their Horse Judging Team! A special congratulations to Cadence Aultman for earning a Gold Emblem as the highest scoring student for Lumpkin FFA! We are so proud of AgEd and FFA!


Lumpkin County School Nutrition Program is collaborating with UNG & 4-H (Lumpkin Cooperative Extension) to grow produce at Dahlonega's Vickery House Gardens to serve our students in school cafeterias. Our LCSS students involved in 4-H work with UNG students and professors at the gardens twice monthly!
