Superintendent Brown and our BOE recognized our five wrestlers who competed at the national level this summer. Way to represent the #TR1BE, Austin Marshall, Nathan Nielsen, Greta Garbuzovas, Nora Garbuzovas, and Gwennie Wight!

It's been a GREAT first week for the #TR1BE! As we wind down this afternoon and prepare for the weekend, our teachers are already planning and prepping for next week's lessons. Take time to rest this weekend, and we will see you all Monday morning!

Sometimes you get creative when you’re demonstrating professional dress for state competition. We’re pretty confident these AgEd and FFA students got the idea!

Welcome back, #TR1BE!

The Lumpkin County Board of Education monthly meetings are coming up this Wednesday (work session) and next Monday (regular session).

We are back in session tomorrow for our first day of school! Please be prepared for heavy traffic in Dahlonega and Lumpkin County, and plan now for expected delays on your morning commute. Most importantly, be alert and help us keep our kids safe!

We welcomed 50 new employees to the #TR1BE earlier this week. We can’t wait to see you all in action as you start your new career in LC!

Our students return in just a few days for a new school year, and we are excited to welcome all of them back into our classrooms!
To simplify and streamline the beginning-of-the-year packet of forms and signatures we need, we are asking parents to complete this process through the Parent Portal this year. Go to www.lumpkinschools.com/required for an overview of this new process and for detailed information.
*If you do not have a login for Infinite Campus Parent Portal, you have two choices: 1) Call your child's school and the front office can get you set-up; or, 2) Plan to set-up your Parent Portal account during Open House by visiting the Parent Portal Help Desk.

Congratulations to Tara (BES) and Daniel Goss on the newest addition to their family! Big brother, Elias, will take good care of sweet Allana-Mae.

Come out this Saturday to the LCMS Cafeteria for the Georgia Mountains Health Back to School Bash! There will be physicals, immunizations, a bouncy house on the football field, two stylists offering haircuts, a fire truck and ambulance for kids to tour, and more!

The Lumpkin County Board of Education monthly meetings are combined during the summer months to just one meeting rather than a separate work and regular session. The combined meeting for this month is coming up next Monday evening.
