It is Old Fashioned Day at Long Branch Elementary School! Kids of all grades enjoyed a day of learning about past practices like Native American foraging and hunting, how biscuits were made, and were introduced to a past method of transportation; the horse. These kids impressed with their costumes and had lots of fun! #LBES

At Lumpkin County Middle School, profe' Pinion's Spanish class got to conversing - in Spanish, of course. An impromptu verbal discussion among students kept the kids on their toes and in the Spanish corner of their minds.

On the second episode of 𝙄𝙣 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙧 𝙃𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨, host Jason D. Lemley makes a phone call to a former colleague to confirm whether or not his memory of a past conversation was accurate. Then, with a focus on finding the gold in ourselves, Jason interviews Kelly Crisson and Jessica Canupp, our school district's new mental health counselors on what they are seeing and their role in Lumpkin County Schools.
