Service Learning is an educational approach that combines learning objectives with community service in order to provide a pragmatic, progressive learning experience while meeting societal needs. It's common for students in high school, or even middle school, to complete service learning projects. We are proud of our Students of Service at Lumpkin County Elementary for a successful service learning project where they raised $521.36 to donate to LC Family Connection by selling Positive Pops. When students put together a project and see it through to the end, we celebrate their success and their leadership!
