Lumpkin County High School is proud to announce the STAR Student and Teacher for 2021. The PAGE Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program honors Georgia's highest achieving high school seniors and the teachers who have been most instrumental in their academic development. The STAR program is designed to recognize high school seniors who have the highest SAT score in their graduating class and meet all other program requirements.
Lumpkin County's STAR Student for 2022 is Autumn Cleymans! Autumn is a senior at Lumpkin County High School graduating this May. Throughout her four years at LCHS, Autumn has excelled in her honors, advanced placement, and dual enrollment coursework.
Autumn chose her eighth grade English Language Arts teacher, Ms. Shelby Forrester, as her STAR Teacher. Ms. Forrester was born and raised in Banks County, Georgia.
