The Board of Education approved the School Calendar for 2020-2021 at last evening's meeting. This calendar was the PURPLE calendar for those of you who cast your vote.

What a great turnout for our Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of the JROTC/Science facility! We are lucky to have so many people in our community as a part of our TR1BE!

Millage Rate Hearings

Governor Kemp spent some time with our FFA students this morning in Perry! Thank you, Governor, for all your support of education and Ag in this great state!

Volunteer mentors are needed as there is a waiting list of children at each of our Lumpkin County Schools! Please help by donating your time or sharing this post to help spread the word. What a wonderful opportunity to make a difference in a child's life and your own life!

In Mr. Rhodes' 7th grade ELA classes, students are working hard to fill up a reading poster each month. When students finish a book, they write down their name and the book on each label on the poster. Help us celebrate reading by encouraging your child to read at home!

Come see our new facility at LCHS and be a part of the ribbon cutting ceremony on August 29th!

Come out tomorrow and support JROTC! Car Wash at the Auto Zone on Morrison Moore Parkway! Saturday, August 17th from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM!

Seventh Grade ELA participated in a book “tasting” today. Students sat around 8 tables and went through a wide range of books rating them 1-5. Students traveled to each station for 7 minutes where they experienced new books and new snacks for each station!
